Welcome to the Raymond Family and
Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation, the authorized Raymond Service
Center covering northern California, Nevada, and the Pacific Northwest.
The primary factors that set Raymond Handling Concepts apart from our
competition are our people and their unequalled dedication to the product
line, to the Company, and in particular to exceptional customer service.
This is demonstrated year after year in our ability to acquire and retain
customers and employees. In our industry and our area it is often said
that there are two kinds of people: those who use or work at Raymond, and
those who wish they did.
At Raymond Handling Concepts, our purpose is to establish and maintain
lifetime relationships by listening to our customers and satisfying their
needs better than any alternative. We work closely with our customers to
help them analyze their needs and propose innovative, productive, and
reliable solutions.
As we establish a relationship with you as a Raymond customer, we are
there for you at the beginning for the design phase. We are there for you
during installation and start up. And, most importantly, we are there for
you for the long run as your world changes. We have a reputation for being
flexible in adapting to our customers’ needs as they change over time. To
us, achieving your satisfaction is not an event. It is an ongoing process
that is constantly reevaluated and improved upon.
I established Raymond Handling Concepts in 1987 as a family oriented
company that fosters close, lifetime customer relationships. In fact, this
tradition extends back more than 85 years to the founding of The Raymond
Corporation in Greene, New York by my grandfather, George G. Raymond, Sr.
Much of our culture of doing business on a “handshake”, trusting our
customers, suppliers, and employees, and our family orientation, comes
from those roots. I think you’ll find it to be a refreshing alternative to
