Technical Training
If you have a fleet of Raymond trucks to
maintain and have chosen to use your own maintenance staff, one of your
biggest concerns is how to keep your maintenance staff qualified to
maintain and repair the equipment. It is absolutely necessary that your
staff be properly trained to trouble shoot and repair your Raymond trucks
for you to realize its superior performance and lower operating cost
advantages.
Forklift Operator Training
All companies must train every worker who operates a lift truck. It’s
the law. But it’s also an opportunity to protect and enhance people,
equipment and materials as valuable resources.
OSHA regulations state what
training must be covered so the employer can certify the operator and
maintain a safe workplace. Given these requirements, your first real
choice is to make the right training investment to minimize the risks and
maximize the opportunities for your company.
Studies have shown that effective training, such as the
program offered through Raymond Handling Concepts, can improve operator
safety performance by 70 percent.

Complete Certified Service Shop
& Technicians
Raymond Handling Concepts
values competence and customer service. In order to ensure that our
customers receive all the advantages and benefits they expect from their
Raymond equipment, we support them with some of the best-trained and
qualified service technicians in the industry. All of our new service
techs go through an extensive, six month Raymond Accelerated Technical
Training (RATT) class with one of our Certified Technical Trainers, before
they are allowed to see a customer. In order to graduate, each RATT must
pass the Raymond Basic Certification Test. But it doesn’t stop there. All
of our service techs receive continuous training on specialty equipment,
new products, and product revisions, as well as regular refresher programs
and are certified by Raymond at two or more advanced levels. All of this
is done to ensure that you will have complete confidence that your Raymond
truck will be taken care of quickly and competently.
Paperless Order Process
Recently, RHCC has deployed
a state of the art paperless work order process which allows same day work
order processing, invoicing and electronic repair receipts. The use of
PDAs and Laptop computers provides our Technicians electronic access to
parts and maintenance manuals which, in turn, frees up van space normally
used for manuals. This enables us to stock even more parts on our vans
giving our customers the advantage of a very high "First Call Completion"
rate.
Radio/Cellular
Dispatched Service Vans
Our Field Service
Technicians are "zoned" to ensure fast response time in emergency
situations. Each of our fully equipped vans carries its own stock of parts
based on the population of Raymond trucks in its operating zone to
maximize the probability of repairing your
down truck in only one visit. All service calls are taken by Service
Dispatchers at each local branch where the nature and urgency of the
situation is determined. The Dispatcher can immediately direct the
appropriate service tech via radio to the customer location with
preliminary information about the problem. Additionally, all service
techs, as well as service management, technical trainers, parts and rental
personnel are equipped with radios, so most times technical and customer
service issues can be resolved immediately.
Scheduled and Fixed
Price Maintenance Programs
In recent years many Raymond
users, even Raymond Fleet users have decided that they prefer to be in the
warehousing or distribution business and not the fork lift maintenance
business. Raymond Handling Concepts has structured maintenance programs
for customers with from one to over a hundred trucks. You can make your
annual budgeting job simple by selecting our Comprehensive Fixed Price
Maintenance Program (CFPM) and fix your maintenance costs for up to five
years. Whichever program best suits your needs, you will have the
confidence that comes with knowing that you are being serviced by fully
qualified and experienced Raymond Service Techs from Raymond Handling
Concepts.
Leasing Programs by Raymond
More and more, leasing has become a popular way to acquire new and
used Raymond equipment. Whether you want to eventually own the equipment,
or want the flexibility to "pay for use" and replace the equipment in a
few years, Raymond Handling Concepts has a program for you. Using Raymond
Leasing, The Raymond Corporation’s captive leasing company, we can offer
flexible programs with competitive rates.
